Privacy Policy
What this site collects when you send the form or call, how calls are recorded under Tennessee law, how long records are kept, and how to have yours removed.
This policy covers the website at murfreesboropremiergaragedoor.com, operated by Murfreesboro Premier Garage Door for residential garage door repair and installation in Murfreesboro and Rutherford County, Tennessee. It describes what is collected through the request form and by telephone, what it is used for, how long it is kept and how to have it removed. Questions about it go through the contact page.
Information the Form Sends Us
The request form collects four things you type: your name, a phone number, an email address and a message describing the door and the problem. Nothing else is asked for. Alongside those, the submission records the page it was sent from and the internet address it came from, which is how automated spam is told apart from real requests. The submission is delivered to us by email and a copy is kept in a private lead log so a request is not lost if an email fails. It is not published anywhere.
The form carries a hidden field that a person never sees and never fills in; a submission with that field filled is treated as a bot and discarded. It also uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a check that loads when you first click into the form and confirms a person is sending it. Most visitors never see a challenge. There is no account to create, no password and no login anywhere on this site.
Phone Calls and Tennessee Recording Law
Calls to the number published on this site may be recorded for quality and training, and so the symptoms, door size and part of town you describe are captured accurately rather than from memory. Tennessee is a one-party consent state under TCA 39-13-601: a call may be recorded when one party to it consents, and we are that party. Because callers may be in other states, the line still announces that calls may be recorded. If you would rather a call not be recorded, say so at the start and we will note it and continue without recording.
Call records hold the calling number, the date, time and length of the call, whether it was answered, and the recording where one was made. They sit in the same private lead log as form requests. Recordings are not published, not sold and not used for anything beyond handling your request and the job that may follow it.
How Long We Keep It
What you send is used to answer your request, to prepare a quote and, if the work goes ahead, to do the work and stand behind it. It is not sold and it is not handed to anyone else for their own marketing.
Request records are kept while the request is open and for a period afterwards for follow-up. Where a job goes ahead, the job record is kept longer: the itemized quote, the parts fitted, spring and opener specifications, and any photographs of the door, because that is the record of what was done and it is what we need if the door has a problem later. Call recordings are kept for a shorter period than job records. Where a job needed a City or County permit, the permit application is held by that office under its own rules, which are generally public, not by us.
Analytics, Cookies and Third Parties
This site runs Cloudflare Web Analytics and nothing else for measurement. It counts page views and the pages they land on without setting a cookie, without fingerprinting your browser and without following you to other sites. There is no advertising pixel, no chat widget, no embedded map and no other third-party script on any page.
The third parties involved in running the site are Cloudflare, which hosts these pages, runs the Turnstile check and the analytics; the email service that delivers a submitted form to us; and the telephone service that routes and may record calls. Each receives only what it needs to do that one thing.
How to Ask for Correction or Deletion
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Call the number at the top of the page or use the form on the contact page and say the request is about your data. We will confirm what we hold and act on it. The one exception is a job record for work we have done, which we keep because it documents the repair, though your contact details can be removed from it on request.
If you would rather your details not be kept at all, say so when you first get in touch and we will hold them only long enough to answer the question you asked. How we scope and quote work is described on the about page, and the full list of what we do is on the services hub.
Door Stuck? Tell Us What It Is Doing
A door that will not lift, hangs crooked, or stops a few inches off the floor is usually one failed part. Call during posted hours or send the symptoms and we will come out, name the part, and put an itemized price in front of you before we touch it.
